The beginning of another month and the Holidays are getting closer and closer! You are going to need some cards! Go ahead, try this sketch and tutorial out!
You will need:
One 4 1/2 inches x 11inches cardstock
One 4 x 10 3/4 inches patterned paper
A tool that can cut circles (Circle Ruler or Coluzzle)
Cut your 4 1/2 inch x 11 cardstock using a circle ruler or coluzzle, to get the rounded top.
Score the cardstock at 4 inches from the non-rounded end. Score again another 4 inches from the first score. It should look like this.
When folded it looks like this.
Then wrap your patterned paper around the scored card and adhere. Make sure that the patterned paper has a rounded edge at the top too!
Fold again at 4 inches from the bottom and then another 4 inches from the first fold.
Embellish the way you want!
Note: I did add some Velcro to help the card to stay closed. You can also use adhesive magnets. Basic Grey makes some!
Here is the sketch from "Get Sketchy"
Here is what I did!
Let's see yours!
