A Clear Scraps Treat Bag Embellishment Tutorial

Wow...December!  Have you got all of your crafty projects done?  Today I would like to share with you a way you can use clear scraps to accent your projects.  In our kit this month we got these little paper bags from Webster's Pages, A Christmas Story and I want to show you how I dressed them up.

In December's kit we got these fun Acrylic Shape Ornaments.  I used them to make a cute embellishment for my bags.  Let's get started.  Here's what you need.
Clear Acrylic Christmas Shapes
Glossy Accents
To and From Stamp
Twine (optional)
Stapler with staples

First, take the plastic off the ornaments.  Get your Glossy Accents out and cover the ornament with it.

Then you will want to smear it all over the ornament.  Make sure every area of the ornament is covered with the Glossy Accents.

Next, take your glitter and generously cover the ornament.  Don't worry about using a lot because you can put the excess back in the jar when you are done.

Gently tap off the excess and look what you have!  Pretty!

Stamp your to and from onto a piece of patterned paper.  I used the Webster's Pages, A Christmas Story that came with my December Kit.

Next, glue your tag stamped image onto the ornament.

Fill you bags with a treat, staple the ornament onto the bag (this helps to keep the bag closed) and tie some twine around the whole thing.

Look what you have now.  Aren't these fun.  I love using the glitter on the clear acrylic.  It just looks amazing!
