Favorite Photo...New Indian Summer from GCD Studios!

Ok...so I think I am going to need all of GCD Studio's new collections.  I can't just pick and choose...it has to be all of them.  Today I want to share with you a layout I made using the new Indian Summer Collection by Diane Kappa.  Like almost everyone else...I love the chevron patterns and the soft colors, but what I love most...is that it is so versatile.  As you can see, there is a Christmas tree in the background...so not summer, right?  Who cares...it works.  Use this collection for whatever craft you are creating.

I love layers, so I added quite a few.  the title and camera tag were cut from my Silhouette.

I added some flag pendants, pendants and buttons here and there on my layout, just for embellishing.

We are a crazy family and well sometimes we like to rarrrr.  I love how this collection worked so well with my photo...like I said, love the versatility!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Xyron and Imaginisce...together!

I am so excited that Imaginisce got to hook up with Xyron's adhesives!  I have had Xyron adhesives in my stash for years!  I love them!

The Imaginisce Design Team received several adhesives from Xyron.  I got he Xyron Mega Runner and the Xyron Glue Stick for corners.  Do you want to see what I did?  Well...first let me say that the mega Runner was wonderful to use.  It was so smooth and I never had jams like I have had with other adhesive runners.  The Corner Glue Stick is in a glue stick league of it's own.  Who would have thunk?  I love the idea of using a glue stick that gets into all of the corners,  Here is what I did.

I put together this easy egg basket that I cut from my Silhouette.  I used the Mega Runner and the Corner Glue Stick to adhere it together.  It's sticking together very nicely...might I add.

That cute bow and rose... The Mega Runner!  Those roses are hard to keep together without having some awesome glue!

Look what's inside!  Yep...gotta have the good glue to hold some treats inside a paper basket.

I also used the Love You More Collection to create this cute basket.  Do you love what yo saw here today?  Well there is more.  Make sure you are checking out the Xyron Blog and the Imaginisce Blog all week to see more.   There you will find links to see all of the design teams projects featuring Imaginisce and Xyron!  If you missed the projects for the first of the week...go back and leave some love:) Imaginisce will be giving away some prizes...a Endless Summer and Childhood Memories Collection pack! Thanks for stopping by today!

I am a flower kind of girl...you can never go wrong with adding some flowers to your layouts.

Don't you just love this bright, bold flowers.  I made a few of my own using my Silhouette...just for an added touch.

I used a lot of foam adhesive to give my flowers some dimension.  I then grouped them...giving this layout a fun tropical feel  Come on...don't you want to get SunKissed now?  Hope you have enjoyed my layouts and the new collection SunKissed...muahh!  Have a fabulous day!

An easy Easter idea using your Silhouette!

Hey all...happy Tuesday!  Today I would like to share with you a quick and easy tutorial using Samantha's Burger Box cut I know what you are think...Burger Box?  Well, I decided not to actually put a burger in the box, but to use it as a little gift box.  Let's get started.

Firs t off, I selected this box from my library and arranged it where I wanted it to be on my paper.

I then cut it.  For heavy or textured cardstock you will want to have your blade setting on 5 and then click on double cut.  This is what it looked like after I cut it out.

So that I could easily put this box together, I folded on all of the perforated lines.

Now you will want to tuck all of little notches into the slots.  Add a little glue or double sided tape to each notch to make sure the box stays together.

It should look like this when you are finished putting it together.

But wait!!! We aren't finished!  Let's embellish!  I chose Samantha's Happy Easter title.

Now, I re sized this title to fit on the box.  I sized mine down to 2.75 x 2.75 inches.  Cut it out on the same setting as you did the box if you are using a heavy or textured cardstock.

Here is mine after it was cut out.

Next, you will want to adhere it to your box.  I love dimension so i used foam adhesive, but you can adhere it down with whatever you would like to use.

Looks good huh, but don't you want more?  Let's add one of Samantha's cute Spiral Flower cuts.

I re sized this cut as well because I knew the flower would end up being to big.  I sized mine down to 3.30 x 3.00 inches and it was perfect.  Once again...cut it out using the same settings as before.

Now time to make that flower beautiful.  I used the Petal Roller form Imaginisce, but you can use your fingers or tweezers.  I rolled mine from the outside in and then glued the bottom of it so it stayed together.

Look how cute it turned out.  Now, for some treats!

I added a little bit of paper grass and some Reese's Peanut Buttercup Eggs...mmmm.

What fun little Easter gift for a school teacher, friend or neighbor.  I hope I have given you some ideas and possibly inspired you to turn on the Silhouette and get crafty with some of Samantha's amazing cuts . You can check out Samantha's Silhouette Portfolio HERE.  Thanks for stopping by and check out Samantha's Blog for more inspiring and fun ideas!

Yep...this just rings summer and don't you just love all the little details on this layout?  These patterned papers have so many fun patterns on them.

How about a card?  I love the big, cute die cuts this collection comes with.  The sun is a die cut and the title a stamp from the collection.

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Imaginisce!

All this week Imaginisce is celebrating St. Patrick's Day!

Since I didn't have any St. Patrick's Day photos to create a layout, I decided to go with a little St. Patrick's decor ( I don't have any of that either, but now I do).  I had this cute green pot sitting around, well truth is...I killed the plant that was growing in it, so to redeem myself I made this cute St. Patrick's Day plant...so to speak.

I cut all these cute sayings and the clovers using my Silhouette Cameo, dressed them up a bit, attached some wood picks and added some white paper grass.  Viola...a paper plant I can't kill.  Now, this cute potted paper plant is going up on my crafty shelf...no watering required.

Are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day by creating something fun and green?  We hope so and we also hope that Imaginisce has helped to inspire you.  Make sure you stop by the Imaginisce Blog everyday to look at what's going on and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win some Imaginisce goodies!  Thanks for stopping by!
