Saturday Share with Imaginisce!

Ok...I am sold.  It took me a little while to jump on the Project Life Bandwagon.  I am such a traditional scrapbooker, but as I took a look at the huge amounts of pictures I have to scrap and my poor kids books that I am so far behind in, I am loving the Project Life idea more and more.  I am excited to share with you a layout I created using the Colors of Christmas and Becky Higgins Photo Pocket Pages.  I really enjoyed creating this layout and now...I am sold.  I have gone out and bought some more of Becky Higgin's Project Life products and I plan on using them to help me catch up. So, do you need to play catch up.  If so, then Imaginisce and Project Life can help.  Imaginisce has different sized cards that come in it's collections, perfect for the Project Life Photo Pocket Pages.

So, how did I go about putting this layout together?  First off, I picked out the pictures I wanted to use and found the photo pocket pages that worked best with them.  I inserted them into the pockets that I thought they would work best in.  Then I picked out the cards from Imaginisce's Colors of Christmas Collection and also put them in the pockets.  Once I got the just of how I wanted it to look, I stared embellishing and making my final touches to the layout.  So, simple, fast and fun.  That's it.  It's really easy to do!  Make sure you are stopping by the Imaginisce Blog on Saturday's to see more Saturday Shares!  Thanks for stopping in!

Imaginisce...New Release Colors of Christmas!

The Colors of Christmas Collection has to be my favorite Christmas collection Imaginisce has put out.  I love the softer colors and designs on the patterned papers.  So, I was more than excited to get my hands on it and dig in.  I decided to use this crazy picture of my family. Recently it has become a tradition to do a scary rarrr picture in front of our Christmas Tree. Don't ask me why and I don't know how it came about, but we love it and get a kick out of looking at the funny pictures.

See...what did I tell you?  What an awesome collection, right?  All this week the Imaginisce DT will be sharing their projects featuring The Colors of Christmas.  So, make sure you hop on over to the Imaginisce Blog to be inspired.  There is a giveaway too.  Someone will get the Colors of Christmas Collection, so make sure you are leaving comments everyday!  Thanks for stopping by:)

Simple Stories Sn@p Family Set

What I really love about the new Sn@p Sets is that not only can you create Life Documented type layouts, but if you want to scrap the traditional way, you can.  Today I wanted to share with you what I created using the Sn@p Family Set.  Here's  a look at the Sn@p Family 4x6 and 3x4 cards.

Using some patterned paper  from the Smarty Pants Collection, I created a layout using mostly the 4x6 and 3x4 Cards.  This made for a quick and easy layout because the Sn@p Cards created the main embellishments for my layout.

Add some Glitter!

When it comes to glitter, I think that a lot of us are afraid to use it.  I know I was one of them. Today I would like to share with you the card I made using glitter.  So, how can we use glitter and keep it from making a huge mess?  By using the Double Sided Adhesive that Silhouette offers.

give thanks silhouette1_2 copy

I love the fact that Silhouette offers us so many ways to use their die cutting machine and this Double Sided Adhesive is amazing!  So, I cut out my Give Thanks Everyday shape using the Double Sided Adhesive and then sprinkled glitter over the top.  Yep...Silhouette offers glitter too!  This is a fun way to make a fast, easy card that adds glitter without the mess and it's beautiful.

give thanks2

Thanks for stopping in and what will you be inspired to create with glitter?
