More Family Fun with Imaginisce!

Okay...so I know what you are thinking.  Summer projects?  Well, if you haven't had a look at the new Family Fun Collection from Imaginisce...you need to.  This collection has so many themes to it; games, art, baking, arcades, pool, bowling, zoo and movies!  I just so happen to use the pool themed paper.  I made this adorable accordion card and pail with treats!

I used the Dimensional Stickers and Sticker Book to make this card.  I also used my I-Rock and Hot Rocks to add a little more fun to this card.

I love this cute pail....just add your favorite treat and what a fun little gift.

I added some more Hot Rocks to the little shovel.  I thought they looked like sand grains.

So, if you haven't checked out the new Family Fun Collection...make sure you do and always check out the Imaginisce Blog for more inspiration!  Thanks for stopping in and enjoy your crafty day!

A Superhero themed Charity Event!

superhero party decorations3

Good morning...I am excited to tell you about the project I am sharing with you today that is up on the Silhouette Blog. We have some really fun "Superhero" themed designs in the Silhouette store and I know that superheroes are all the rage right now.  I had the opportunity to t do a charity event for a family that recently lost their son to Leukemia.  This little boy loved superheroes and I wanted the charity event to have that them.   This was my contribution to the event.  I made a banner, some "Pow" and "Zap" words as well as some superhero masks that I put on balloons, but I would love for you to check out the whole post. Please scoot on over to the Silhouette Blog to see it all!!

Thanksgiving with Sisters

If you are anything like me family when it comes to Thanksgiving, you are on the “Family Rotation”.  While, I love time with my husband’s family, I do love the years that I get to spend time with my sisters.  During this time, there are usually fun pictures, laughs and reminiscing.  It’s not often that we get all of us together at once, but we can usually count on Thanksgiving to give us that time together.  Today I want to share with you my “Sisters” layout and the technique I used.

To create this layout, I used Carta Bella’s “A Perfect Autumn” Collection in combination with the Designer Dies Grateful Die/Stamp Set and Designer Dies Thankful Blessing 4 x 6 Stamp.  One of my favorite things to do with stamps is to heat emboss with them.  I did that here with the leaves from these to stamps set.  I love the raised look it gives especially when using textured cardstock.

I also did the same with this cute little deer.

To give my leaf clusters bit of a different look, I also cut out leaves from the “Falling Leaves” patterned paper and added them in.

Thanks for stopping in and I hope you have wonderful time creating and scrapbooking those wonderful Thanksgiving memories.

November Samantha Walker Creative Crafter's Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Jamie Cripps Blog.  If not, go there first as to not miss anything!

Have you heard about Samantha's new adventure?  It's called Digi Playground and it's perfect place to get SVG digital cutting files, digital stamps and printables!  Here is a link to the Digi Playground's Facebook Page

I made this cute 3d pumpkin using Samantha Walker's 3d Box Jack O Lantern Pouch and the 'Give Thanks' Word Phrase.  The 3d Box Jack O Lantern had a face on it and I simply removed the face and added the 'Give Thanks' Word Phrase to make it more of a Thanksgiving themed project.

I had some leaf stickers left over from one of Samantha's older collections, "Harvest", so I added those to the pumpkin.

Inside...you can add a sweet treat!

Samantha has some of the funnest 3d projects!  Have a look at her Silhouette Portfolio!

Don't forget to sign up for Samantha's Newsletter
through the Rafflecopter widget to receive your
FREE SVG and Silhouette Studio file and a chance to win Spellbinders Shapeabilities Expandable Patterns Die Fancy Lattice.  You will have until Sunday November 16th at 11:59 pm MDT to leave your comments.  A winner will be picked Monday November the 17th on Samantha's Facebook Page!  Here's a look at the free SVG and the Spellbinder's Die.

Imginisce's New Family Fun Collection and the D-Stress Tool!

The new Family Fun Collection by Imaginisce is simply fabulous!  There are so many cute themes.  My mind was swimming with ideas, but I had to pick just one. Let me show you the fun box card I made.

I cut out this adorable box card using my Silhouette Cameo.  I put it together and simply used the stickers from the Sticker Book as well as the Dimensional Stickers to embellish my box card.

Oh, and I can't forget about the D-Stress tool from Imaginisce.  Next to the I-Top, this is the tool I use the second most.  I love having a finished look to my projects and I love sanding around the edges of my projects. That's what I did here!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing projects from the new Family Fun Collection as well projects using Imaginisce tools...which are the best tools out there!  Make sure you are stopping by the Imaginisce Blog to see all of the fun projects using the new Family Fun Collection and Imaginisce tools!  Until next time!

Carta Bella Altered Christmas Stars!

Can you already believe that Christmas is right around the corner?  Just when I thought I’ve recovered from 2013…there it is, Christmas again.  Well, right now is the perfect time to get into the festive mood and create some fun Christmas d├ęcor.  I love the Bundled Up Collection because it is perfect for those wintery projects as well as Christmas ones.  I found these fun paper star boxes at my local craft store and decided to dress them up.

What’s even more perfect than the Bundled Up Collection?  Well, the Designer Dies of course!  I used the Designer Die Snowflake Set #2, Designer Die Snowflake Tree Die Set and the Designer Die Tree Die Set to dress up these boxes.  See those cute leaves?  Those are originally supposed to be trees, but work perfectly to make some wintery looking leaves.  Here is a close up of the other boxes.

I also used a little Stickles to add a bit of glimmer and bling.

I love that fact that these boxes open up, so I could use them as a gift box or just to display.

Thanks for stopping in to look at my project.  I hope you enjoy crafting with the Bundled Up Collection!
