Good morning! So, have you seen the new Happy Traveler Collection from Imaginisce? It's so, so FUN and full of bright colors, patterns and designs...perfect for those travel memories. Summer break has come to an end for most of us and our kids are back in school, but you know you still have all of those summer memories waiting to be scrapped. I have made a layout with this collection and now, I made some cards. I am always in need of cards at my house. My kids and husband are always digging through my stash of cards when they need one for a special occasion.

Hello and happy Wednesday! I am so excited about Imaginisce's new collection Happy Traveler! I love all the fun additions that come along with this collection...the Puffy Stickers and Wood Veneers are awesome! I have so may travel pictures that need to be scrapped, so I know this collection is going to get well used.
Our family took a trip to California back in 2012 and I haven't scrapped many of the photos. I know that I was waiting for the perfect collection and boy this one was it!
I love the bright colors of this collections as well as all of the fun patterns. I used some of American Crafts Thickers for my title and then cut the 'adventure' part out using my Silhouette Cameo and the 6x6 Paper Pad from this collection.I used the 6x6 Paper Pad to make some boarder strips as well.
I love that this collection also has 3x4 cards that can be cut out to use as a project life style of scrapbooking, for journaling and even embellishing. You can see that I used mine for journaling. This collection also comes with some cute stamps...look at the cute balloon! Look closely and you can see a wood veneer and puffy sticker...so fun! I also used some Hot Rocks and the I-Rock for more embellishing.
Well, what do you think? What a fun collection right? I am sure you have a bunch of photos from summer just waiting to be scrapped and this collection is perfect for them. I already have so many ideas of what I would like to do with the Happy Traveler Collection that my head is swimming. Time to dig into another project! Until next time!

I am holding on to summer for as long as I can. I don' t know about you, but I'm not ready for the colder weather of Fall and Winter. Today I am going to share with you a layout that keeps me holding onto summer.
Back in January my husband and I went on a cruise to the Caribbean. This beach happens to be on the island of Antigua. This small island has some of the most beautiful beaches. I had to keep pinching myself. It was so hard to believe that I was soaking up the sun and enjoying the beach and water in January. I wanted my layout to be bright and warm, just the way I felt in the sun. I went with a non traditional beach layout and used the Open Triangles and Word 3 cut files. Have a looksy!
I used the 'always' from the Word 3 cut file as part of my title because it's true...It's ALWAYS summer in the Caribbean.
Here are some close ups on the Open Triangles cut file I used. I love that I can use the outside and the inside of this file...giving me more options I even added some embellishments to them.
I am having so much fun creating with the JustNick cut files found in the JustNick Store. Go have a look for yourself. There are lots of unique cut files you won't find anywhere else. Also, make sure you are stopping by the JustNick Blog to see what the design team has been creating! Thanks for stopping in and having a look at my layout. Until next time...HAPPY CUTTING!

Happy Friday Imaginisce fans! Today I'm going to share with you another Back To School project. This time I scrapped by beautiful daughter Janica. She is a senior this year and my last one to finish school. I am having so many mixed feelings about her being done. The next stage in life for her will be collage and by that time, I 'm pretty sure both of my kids will be moved out. I'm excited for this next stage in life, but sad at the same time because I will miss seeing them everyday. I just love having them around.
I made this layout using my Silhouette Cameo, the Family Fun and Heartland Farms Collections and of course...my I-Top! I wanted to use a variety of patterned papers, so I cut the background design out with my Silhouette Cameo and then adhered the patterned papers to the back. I think the colors of the patterned papers are perfect school colors and add so much to this layout.
This adorable title was also made using my Silhouette Cameo.
Can you see that cute apple? Yep, made with my I-Top and Brad Daddies. I love the versatility of the I-Top and the fact that I can create custom embellishments with it.
As you can tell, I didn't do too much embellishing on my layout. I felt that the background design with all of the patterned papers created a lot to look, making the layout embellished enough.
What Back to School projects have you created? You know it is that time of year and Imaginisce has some fun collections that are perfect to create these projects! Make sure you are checking the Imaginisce Blog to see all of the fun projects the design team has been creating! I hope you have enjoyed my layout and it has inspired you! Until next time!

Happy Monday all! I thought we should start the week off right with a layout featuring my gorgeous daughter. Yes, she seems to be the subject of a lot of my projects lately, but she is so fun to scrap, so you will probably be seeing more of her.
This week we are focusing on using 3 cut files on our project. Now, this was not hard at all. All of the JustNick cut files are amazing and it was easy to find 3 that would work well together. The cut files I used on this layout are the Chain Reaction Background, Card Sentiments 1 and the Basic Banner...new in the JustNick Store this week!
How fun is that background? I used some foam adhesive to give it a bit of dimension. The Card Sentiments 1 were perfect for my title.
Okay...so the Basic Banner cut file is soooo cute! I knew right away it would work well with the photo.
I love how this layout turned out and the cut files all worked so well together. Who needs to spend a load of money on embellishments when you can use the JustNick cut files. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope of inspired you to get crafty and have fun using the JustNick cut files. Make sure you are visiting the JustNick Store weekly because there are always new cut files! Until next time...happy crafting!

I love simple, easy projects and today I have one a project for you that is just that. today I am going to show you how I made these adorable 3x4 wood blocks using the new Fall Blessings Collection.
To start off, I bought these already cut 3x4 wood blocks at a local craft store, but you can use regular wood pieces and cut them down to the size you’d like. You can actually use any size you want, but I liked this size.
Next, you will want to cut out your pieces of patterned paper according to the size of your wood blocks. The new collection, Fall Blessings, come with 3x4 Journaling cards as well as 4x6 Journaling cards, so you can use those if you’d like. I cut my 3x4 pieces of paper out using the 6x6 Paper Pad because I wanted to add Designer Dies and Stamps on mine.
Adhere your pieces of patterned paper to your wood blocks and sand the edges for a finished look. You don’t have to sand your edges, I just like the way it looks.
Now, pick out the Designer Dies and Stamps you’d like to use to embellish your blocks. At the end of this blog post, I listed the supplies I used to make mine.
Here are some close ups of my embellished blocks!
Thanks for stopping in and I hope I have inspired you to get crafty with one of Carta Bella Paper’s newest paper collections. I just wanted to also give a big thank you to the Carta Bella Paper Team and all of the fans that have supported me. It has been fun creating for a wonderful company. This is my last post with the 2014-2015 team and it has been a real pleasure!

Can you believe that for some of us, school starts in less than a month? Wow, summer is flying by and it is never long enough...at least for me. I only have one child left in school and she only has one year left, yes she is a senior! Wow, I am getting old!
The fun thing about this time of the year, is that we get to create fun back to school projects. Now, since I don't have young school age kids, I love gifting these fun back to school projects to my neighbors who have young kids. I still enjoy creating them!
So, I made this fun gift set using my Silhouette Cameo, the Family Fun Collection and the Heartland Farm Collection. It comes with a card and an easel sticky note holder...perfect for holding some of the things teachers use the most.
Look closely at this card. Isn't that apple just adorable? I used the I-Rock with some Hot Rocks to embellish it!
This has to be my favorite part of the project. This easel is so fun and you can find it at the Silhouette Store. The Family Fun Collection and Heartland Farm Collections were perfect for creating this project. The colors are perfect back to school colors. If you look closely at the apple here, I also dressed it up with the I-Rock and Hot Rocks.
I hope you have enjoyed my project today! I really do enjoy creating back to school projects even though I am not ready for school to start. I hope that it has inspired you to get crafty and to make something special for those teachers who do so much for our kids! Make sure you are stopping by the Imaginisce Blog frequently to see all of the fun projects the design team has been creating! Until next time!
